It is already two weeks since the opening of the hotel. We are very happy that so many customers are coming by everyday.

On opening day of the hotel, we had a big guest. It was Korea's great star who enchanted so many Japanese women, Mr. Bae Yong Joon!!
I would like to introduce you the story of his visit to our hotel.

There was a ceremony in front of the reception, Mr. Bae Yong Joon gave a congratulation's message and a white Korean vase.


And in return, Mr. Hiroyuki Shigemitsu, vice president of Lotte sent a decorated plate, a traditional craftwork "Edo-kiriko."


After the ceremony, Mr. Bae Yong Joon visited the guest room, saw the view from the room and took a Koala's March cushion in hand, smiled and said "it's cute!!"

Later, he made a surprise visit to hotel's korean dining Gosireh Hwa, customers cheered at this surprise^^
And more, Ms. Yuko Ogura visited Gosireh Hwa and it was also a big surprise.

Ms. Ogura's surprise visit was already introduced at a lunchtime variety information TV program"DON!" so you may have already seen it.

There was about 500fans gathering on that day! There was a rope to restrict ways at front of the hotel, you can really feel BYJ's popularity.

Thank you so mcuch for coming that day. I hope you could stay at the hotel, get relaxed and enjoy Korean food at Gosireh Hwa.

It is already April of year 2010. How time flies!
Other day, my daughter who was born last year celebrated her 100th day.
In Korea, child’s 100th day is a special day and we celebrate it with family and relatives.
I had a small gathering with my family for celebration.
Bae Yong Joon attended and congratulated us.

Today, Bae Yong Joon has returned to Korea.
During his two weeks stay in Japan, he sent his greetings at grand opening of Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho, he had preparations for his charity activities, and had several meetings related to his future works.


Since this visit was un-official, he did not have a chance to send his greetings to the family, but with your understanding and support, he has finished his schedule in Japan and fulfilling time in his private time.
Bae Yong Joon was very happy to be able to spend relaxing time and went back to his country.

South Korea's figure-staking queen Kim Yu-na was voted the number one Korean celebrity in Japan in terms of their "feeling intimate" while her Japanese archrival Asada Mao topped the survey among South Koreans for the same category, a joint poll by South Korea's Hankook Ilbo and Japan's Yomiuri newspaper revealed Saturday.

Kim topped the poll as 50 percent of Japanese respondents picked her, followed by Lee Seung-yeop (21 percent), a baseball player, currently playing for the Yomiuri Giants in Japan, tailed by Bae Yong-joon (18 percent), an actor.

In Korea, people voted Asada Mao (43 percent), followed by figure skater Ando Miki (18 percent), who has a tie with Suzuki Ichiro, a major league player.

The Internet-based JPNews, which carried the news, didn't specify how many people in the two countries participated in the poll.

In the poll, respondents were allowed to choose multiple favorites ― up to three, and celebrities are from those in entertainment and sports.

When asked about the South Korean celebrities to whom they felt closest, half of Japanese respondents named figure skater Kim Yu Na, an Olympic gold medalist, while 43 percent of the South Koreans had a similar affinity for her rival, silver medalist Mao Asada, according to a survey jointly conducted by The Yomiuri Shimbun and the Hankook Ilbo.

Yomiuri Giants baseball player Lee Seung Yeop and actor Bae Yong Joon, also known as Yon-sama, were the No. 2 and No. 3 choices in Japan, respectively. In South Korea, Asada was followed by figure skater Miki Ando and Major League Baseball player Ichiro Suzuki of the Seattle Mariners.

The survey asked people to choose up to three names from a list of 11 athletes and entertainment personalities from Japan or South Korea.
